Privacy Policy

To comply with General Data Protection Regulations I have set out here why and how I collect your data.

I am an associated member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work to the BACP code of ethics, working in accordance with their ethical framework for good practice. I am also a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

I will not pass on any information about a client in accordance with BACP code of best practice.

Psychotherapists are expected to appoint a supervisor to help ensure the quality of practice. I share your data with them to the extent required for these purposes.

I collect and keep data for the purpose of providing service to my client. This data may include client contact details, notes covering assessment, history, ongoing progress and such other information as is needed to provide the service and meet compliance requirements. I then delete or shred it.
